error reading credit card

The Chiefs use a credit card processor to handle all the charging of credit cards.
I would wait a day and try again...
If you are still having trouble, please open a support ticket

I typed in all the correct information on my credit card. I also made sure enough money was on the card in order to pay for the registration and there is still an error regarding not taking money off the card and that I should try again.
